We had a blast on this year’s Nantucket vacation! We did a little bit of everything, had great weather and even better company! Addy loved every minute of being with family. Her is the first part of our Nantucket adventure. I took over 2,000 pictures in Nantucket alone so these are just a brief glimpse into our trip. I’ll be sharing more next week. Enjoy!
Taylor let us enjoy his first class upgrade! Addy loved the extra room to wriggle. A lot has changed since we flew with her in March. She wanted to wiggle and move a heck of a lot more. We flew Houston to Newark with small layover until we headed to Nantucket.
Addy loved seeing grandparents, her aunt, uncle, cousins and friends on this trip. She was having the time of her life with all the attention.
We had great weather and spent most of the time at the beach. Addy did not know what to make of the sand at first. It took some time to get used to. Our first day at the beach, after getting comfortable, she quickly started to devour the sand. Handfuls were going into her mouth. Luckily, she quickly learned that wasn’t the best idea and by the end of the week eating sand was no longer the cool thing to do.

“Old Mill” is the oldest functioning mill in the country. It was built in 1746 and is always a fun quick stop on vacation.
While on Nantucket, Addy had her first ever ice cream experience at the Juice Bar. She loved it! Unfortunately for me, she ate most of it. Our favorite flavor was Crantucket, vanilla ice cream with chocolate covered cranberries and chocolate chunks. It was delicious. We did visit the juice bar several time!
While in Nantucket, Taylor and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary. Our little one had us up nice and early and we all cuddled in bed. Later in the evening everybody helped watch Addy while Taylor and I had our first date night out since Addy was born. We headed to the Strait Wharf restaurant for a delicious meal fancy meal. Taylor had a great looking steak and I ventured out of my comfort zone and had scallops. Our meals were both delicious and the restaurant was perfect. Sorry no pictures, we just enjoyed each other! After dinner we walked around a bit then ventured home for a low key evening.
Morning CuddlesHappy 3rd Anniversary to us!
Lots more to share about our trip next week, stay tuned!
