Family and friends, we have some exciting news! Taylor’s job is moving us to Singapore! The movers arrive next week and a few days later we will board a plane for a new adventure. I will use this blog to post about our adventure and hope that everyone enjoys. I will update more once we get there and get settled. Until then, its hectic organizing our apartment(what goes to storage, sea shipment, air cargo, and packed), finishing the school year, selling our cars, and saying our good byes. Wish us luck!
In case you’re wondering where Singapore is, here’s a map snap shot!

The Chicago Cubs came to town this past weekend and it made for a perfect Friday night date night. The weather was perfect and our seats were great. Nationals stadium is a great ball park, we try to catch a few games every year. Unfortunately, my home town team lost against the Nats.
We had a fabulous weekend camping at Cape Henlopen State Park. The park is located in Lewes, Delaware on the Atlantic Ocean. The park had tons to offer, I wish we would have found this park when we first moved to the area because it would have been the one and only campground we visited! We had a nice campsite, their were beautiful paved bike paths, beaches, and since it was an old military base we were able to check that out. Lewes was also a super cute town with some cool shops and restaurants.
Campfire hot dogs for dinner the first night.
Hamburgers for dinner night 2!
Breakfast! Eggs, bacon, hashbrowns…YUM!
Part of the military base during WWII. Taylor thought all of this stuff was pretty cool.
The best part of this camping trip, jumbo marshmallows! You thinking I’m joking, they were awesome!
- Best S’more ever!
- Taylor being artsy with camera!
